It was a day that we celebrated papa's (father-in-law) birthday. We were all in the car going for lunch at an Indonesian restaurant, it a nice plce. It ashamed that i could not remember the name, all i know it that it is opposite Roti Boy at China Square. It very rare that we can capture such a nice image, both darlings ( sometime i used to call them when they are together), were having a good time in this picture. When we reached the restaurant, i realised that there is this

The fatty me and Shae. Not that i am any better now. This was during Chinese new year, when all my relative visited my brother's house. Everyone commented that Shae kept sucking her thumb, something she enjoyed very much, they gave all sort of well meaning advice on how not to let her continue this habit. Seriously, i do not care if she is going to continue this habit or not. This is a way that she sooth herself, i do not see why i have to deprive her of this favourite hobby of hers. I gave this explanation to all of them, and all of them gave me this very disapproving look. Luckily, my in law and Choon, agree with me,

When Shae first learned how to sit, we make sure that her back is well supported. She is only 4 month plus when she starts trying to sit up, she loves it when we let her do thing like us. She enjoys eating with us on the dining table ( with her high chair of course), she love to join us when we are all sitting at the sofa watching tv programmes. The love of her life now, to go out with us. It does not matter to her where we are bringing her ( at least for now) as long as she is able to get out of the house. However, no matter what, she expects us to bring her back home to her cot by 9 plus at night. Before we put her in her cot, she will like to say her routine good night to all of us. If not she will starts tossing and turning in her cot and will take a longer time to sleep.
Shae
Shae is our darling daughter. She is born on 31st August 2004. Although I name this blog as my Family and i, i believe that i will be talking about her most of the time. Time flies, she is already a seven month thriving baby. She change so much from the day she was born until today. She has start babbling and is attempting to crawl. I really doubt that she will succeed as i see her standing and moving on her buttock most of the time. Old people always say that if a baby starts to move her buttock or attempt to stand, it means that they will skip the process of crawling and walk straight away. Her father, my husband, Choon, starts to walk straight away without crawling. Hopefully she has her father's good gene.
